Introductory Kayak

If you are planning to extend your paddling, book an introductory kayak course with Pete.

Pete is a fully qualified kayak and canoe instructor with plenty of experience instructing learn to kayak classes.

Grde 2 Course

Grade 2 Certification

If you already know the basics and wish to extend your ability and skills to attain your Grade 2 Kayaking Certificate, book a course with Pete.

Grade 2 certification is a requirement for many multiport races like the Kathmandu Coast to Coast, Godzone or Wanaka Multisport Challenge.

​

Pete will take you through a tried and true programme, including pool, lake and river sessions, covering everything required for Grade 2 certification. This is normally done over a weekend in Tekapo.

​

Courses for 2023/24 are scheduled for 28 & 29 October, 11& 12 November, and 9 & 10 December. Spaces are limited, so contact us to book your place in these popular courses.

Learn to Roll

Learn to Roll

Learn to Roll courses will be scheduled as demand dictates.

These will be evening sessions at the local pool. It usually takes between 2 and 4 sessions to learn and perfect the roll technique.
